It’s a secret he is having a hard time keeping at the age of 23. His troubles with hearing “The Voice” in his head was supposedly “cured” many years ago after a violent episode in elementary school.
Now, he has just finished college and begun his own landscaping business. His rich father doesn’t approve of Jeremy’s career choice, but still helped him finance it. His business is growing. He has friends and parents that love him, even if they are rather smothering and manipulative. They still mean well.
Life should be great. Except, after a chance encounter with a strange young woman in town, he becomes obsessed with Hadler’s Woods, the center of many of the town’s worst horror tales. Tales of Hadler’s Woods are filled with mysterious disappearances, sightings of strange creatures … and the legend of a powerful witch.
Suddenly, The Voice from Jeremy’s childhood has begun speaking again. There are disturbing things happening around him and he begins to believe it is all connected to Hadler’s Woods and maybe even to the witch that supposedly lives there.
What he discovers there endangers both his life and his sanity.
